Step 1 - Log on to FLiCA.
Step 2 - The blue Crewmember Menu will display in the left pane. Click on a folder to access these options:

Bidding - Information about the bid package
My Account - Information about your FLiCA account, options and other services
Contact Us - Access to Technical Support and Customer Service
Tutorial and Help - Access to the Online FLiCA Tutorial and Help files
Logoff from FLiCA.Net
Step 1 - From the My Account folder, click FLiCA Services.
Step 2 - Select the access plan of your choice.
Step 3 - Click Update Account, or click Cancel to exit the page without making any changes.
Step 1 - From the blue Crewmember Menu, locate the Initial Bid folder. Click Cover Sheet to display it in the right pane.
Step 2 - Your airline may display other documents. Click on the title to display the document.
Step 3 - The cover sheets and other documents can be printed. Right click within the document window. Select Print from the menu.
Step 1 - From the blue Crewmember Menu, click View or Print Lines.
Step 2 - The Bid Package Lines will display in an easy-to-read grid. By default, the Bid Package is sorted by Line number in ascending order (001, 002, 003, etc.).
Step 3 - Use the tool bar along the top to navigate within the Lines of the Bid Package:
Click Display to select Stats and various other Bid Package display options.
Click on the arrows to move up one line or move down one line.
Click on the arrows to move up one page or move down one page.
Click on the arrows to move to beginning or move to end of bid package.
Click on this arrow to refresh the bid package (available only on the Build Bid Sheet page; helpful when wanting to see newly grayed-out lines).
Type a line number into the search block . Click Find to search for and display the line.
Step 4 - To view details of an individual pairing, click on a blue pairing number to display the pairing details window.
Step 5 - To sort the Bid Package at this time, see Lesson 7 of this tutorial.
Step 6 - To print the lines, click Print at the top of the page. The Options for Printing Bid Package dialog box will display.
Step 7 - Enter printing instructions.
Step 8 - Click Continue. When the bid package is displayed in the new window, a small dialog box will pop-up.
Step 9 - Click OK. The Print Options window will display. Follow the printer's manufacturer directions for printing. Click Cancel to view the bid package and determine whether you want to print only selected pages (page numbers are displayed at the top of each page).
Step 1 - From the blue Crewmember Menu, click View or Print Pairings.
Step 2 - The Pairing Detail Viewer will display. Follow the instructions to select which pairings you want to view. Click View Details from the left pane. The pairing details will display.
Step 3 - Click View All Pairings (from the left pane next to the fifth option). The Pairing Sort Preference window will display. Select your sort preferences. Click Apply. The sorted pairings will display in the right pane.
Step 4 - With Pairing Colorization you can assign colors to particular pairings, and then sort pairings and lines using those colors. This adds the visual effect of "highlighting" the pairings you like best.
Step 5 - Click Print Setup at the top of the right pane. A window will display with setup instructions for printing the pairing details.
Step 6 - Click Continue to return to the Pairing Details window.
Step 7 - Click Print to display your printer's dialog.
Step 8 - Click Main Menu in the upper left corner to return to the blue Crewmember Menu.
Step 1 - From the blue Crewmember Menu, click Build Bid Sheet.
Step 2 - The Build Bid Sheet page will display:
Center pane - Bid Package
Right pane - Bid Sheet
Upper pane - Personal Information
Lower pane - Buttons relating to building the Bid Sheet
Step 1 - With Pairing Colorization you can assign colors to particular pairings, and then sort pairings and lines using those colors. This adds the visual effect of "highlighting" the pairings you like best.

Step 2 - Click View or Print Lines or Build Bid Sheet in the Initial Bid folder. The bid package will display sorted by Line number in ascending order (001, 002, 003, etc.).
Step 3 - Click Sort at the top of the bid package. The Line Sort Preference window will appear.
By default, the Basic Mode (one sort option) will display. Otherwise, the Advanced Mode (multiple sort options) will display.
Basic Mode - Click to select one of the sort categories. Select a sort order. Click Apply. (Continue with Step 8 of this Lesson).
Advanced Mode - (Continue with Step 4 of this Lesson).
Step 4 - Sort options are grouped into three main categories, each with a corresponding drop-down menu: Days Off, Pairings and Lines.
Step 5 - After selecting your sort options, they will display under the Priority/Preference/Sort Order headings in the Line Sort Preference window.
Step 6 - You can edit your sort options from within the Line Sort Preference window.
Step 7 - To select various options for viewing the bid package, click the Display Options link. The Display Options window will appear.
Step 8 - From the Line Sort Preference window, click Apply. The bid package will sort to the specified options.
The red arrow below the option shows the currently selected sort order.
Values shaded in pink indicate lines which do not match that particular sort option.
Step 9 - The Display Options window can also be accessed by clicking Display at the top of the bid package.
Step 1 - Fill in your Bid Sheet (located in the right pane) by adding, deleting, or inserting Lines. You will always have as many bid slots available to you as your level of seniority requires, plus 5 additional bid slots.
To add a Line, click on the Line number button (ex. ). You can also type the Line number into the Bid Sheet.
To enter multiple Lines as a single bid, type the Line range in the next available slot. For example type: 1-5. Bids will display/confirm as: 001-005.
To delete a line, click Del next to the line you want to delete. It will be deleted from the bid sheet, and all other Lines on the Bid Sheet will move up one position.
To insert a line, click on the number button (ex. , , ) corresponding to the position where you want to insert the line. All Lines in the Bid Sheet will move down one position, leaving a blank bid slot in the Bid Sheet.
To add any lines, click ANY. This will insert them in line # order.
To add any relief line, click REL. This will insert them in line # order.
To add any reserve line, click RES. This will insert them in line # order.
Note: Relief and reserve lines (if numbered with unique line numbers) will display as 127 and R105, respectively. If the line numbers are not unique you may see REL127 or RES105. If you opt to manually type Lines in the Bid Sheet, be sure to type R, RES or REL before any line number that requires an indicator.
Click Refresh to show the lines (shaded gray) which you have already entered in your bid sheet.
Step 2 - To add lines in the order in which you have sorted them, click Add Sorted Lines. A dialog box will display with several options to select from.
Step 3 - When you are satisfied with the bid sheet, click Save Bids, located at the bottom of the Build Bid Sheet page.
Important: Save your bids frequently, especially if you know you have a large number of bids to enter.
Step 4 - A Bid Confirmation will display each time you save your bids, showing:
Bid #'s and Line #'s (numbers) display in the order in which they appear on your bid sheet.
The bottom of the Bid Confirmation window states the date and time that your bids were received by the server.
Step 5 - You can Print the bid confirmation for your records.
Step 6 - You can also E-mail the bid confirmation to yourself, your family or friends. Enter the From and To email addresses. Add an additional message. Click Send.
Step 7 - Click OK on the Bid Confirmation window to close the window and return to your main Build Bid Sheet page, which now displays the bid just saved.
Step 8 - A date/time stamp will display at the top of the bid sheet after the first bid is saved. If you submit a blank bid sheet, the date/time stamp will then clear.

For
security reasons, it is essential to logoff of FLiCA.Net when you complete
your bidding session.
There are two options to logoff:
Option 1 - Click Logoff in the top left corner of the Build Bid Sheet page.
Option 2 - Return to the blue Crewmember Menu and click on the Logoff option at the bottom of the menu.
